United Systems of Arkansas (USA) was chosen as the name for our company because it indicates our integrated system development approach at the same time that it reflects our pride of place. The inclusion of "Arkansas" has proven to be a strong opener for discussion, as many people in other parts of the country have a certain curiosity about our state as well as our President.
Our name also shortens logically to "USA", symbolizing our nationwide service base and our company's "Made in USA" commitment to traditional standards of adaptability, leadership, quality, personal pride, and above all integrity.
United Systems of Arkansas is a data base validation and publishing company, converting and correcting computerized information for output. We create directories, catalogs, direct mail letters, forms, questionnaires, postcards, manuals and many other products that involve placing compliance information on paper. We take great pride in getting it right the first time, and then solving the delivery logistics to ensure compliance with specifications by the most cost effective means.
USA incorporated in 1989 and has since grown to become the third largest print brokerage firm in Arkansas. USA is recognized across the country for technical expertise and innovation in both traditional and electronic print production and mailing. USA has worked for years as a subcontractor to Medicare carriers in developing effective cost savings methods for timely production of their print communications. Some of the projects are: Medicare Participating Provider Enrollment, Medicare Participating Provider Directories (MEDPARD's), Physician Fee Disclosures, Physician Code manuals, National Supplier Directories and Lab owner relationships.
We generally take the lead by developing the product and production method first, with sales efforts following. USA's most recent effort is the development of "on demand" directory production. This concept has the potential of saving thousands in print and postage costs. USA's founder and CEO Glenn Petkovsek was recognized with the first "Demand Maker of the Year" award from the national Print Brokerage Association and has since received it a second time. This past year USA was a semi-finalist in USA Today's Quality Award and has received two Gold Awards and one Platinum Award on our USA/Certified Mailer form. USA's certified system is presently being reviewed for adaptation by several foreign postal systems.
